Established in 1846, the A.T. Cross Company is one of the oldest manufacturers of fine writing instruments. Its first manufacturing facility was based in Providence, Rhode Island, USA and was limited to elegantly tooled gold and silver casings for wooden pencils. All Cross writing instruments and desk set penholder mechanisms are unquestionably guaranteed against mechanical failure, regardless of age.
